Kenny, exceptional work! I've been away from my computer for a while - travel, vacation, etc, so I've been working through my 500 and some odd deviations in my inbox. Yours stood out and caught my eye. Keep up the great work!

Thank you David. There are a few things that could use a bit of touch up, but having done it as a learning experience, I'm happy with it. Working on a much more ambitious landscape a the moment, had hoped to finish it this weekend, but that's not going to happen. :(

Glad you had some time away and hope you enjoyed yourself!

Absolutely stunning Ken!

But I think his forehead needs some extra work on it ey? especially the hairline.

Thanks Amru! There is definitely some minor touch-ups -- like the shadow around the hairline that could be done. Thanks for looking and commenting!

You'll get a big WOW from me Kenny! Great job on the portrait! I hopped over to WC to peak at your WIP thread on this one and now I'm just shaking my head! I don't have a clue how this is done, never saw anyone do it, so I'm just amazed at what a beautiful job you are able to do.

:) Thank you! Honestly it's really not much different that painting on canvas, just not as messy. :)

So it's all digital? You used digital pastels? The skin tones look amazing.

Any time. I'm trying to get digital, but haven't the time at the moment. My tablet sits gathering dust :(

I understand. I first started attempting digital work well over 10 years ago and have only gotten serious about it in the last year or so. :)

I'm also trying to keep my fingers in traditional graphite/charcoal work.

When the time is right go for it!

Gosh kenny! You really are getting along with this new-found medium:D

It has this Impressionism life-like quality to it.

Congratulations!

Hey Joel, thanks! It was actually a challenge in the WC Pastel forum. I did the wip over there in Painters Alley. :)

I really appreciate your support and encouragement!
